As part of the US’s plan to invest in ‘hubs’ in Iraq and Syria, significant decisions were taken in New York. Ankara has decided to hand over the Bashiqa Base in Sinjar to Baghdad, whilst the Turkish Armed Forces’ presence in Syria is also set to be brought into a ‘legal’ framework. All eyes are on Iran.
