Of the 18 people detained in Izmir as part of an operation targeting LGBTI+ individuals under the name ‘My Family is Safe’, 16 have been arrested, whilst two have been released subject to judicial supervision. The Izmir Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that appeals had been lodged against the judicial supervision orders.
