From an ‘isolated incident’ to a criminal organisation: Who is at the head of this structure?

Fifty days into the fund scandal, Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced that a hierarchical criminal structure had been identified in the investigation. However, in a case involving 433 suspects, the organisation’s leaders, its political connections and the position of the AKP figures whose names have been mentioned remain unclear. The questions “Who runs this structure, and where is its political wing?” remain unanswered.
