AKP files defamation suit against BirGün TV, Timur Soykan, Şaban Sevinç and Zeynel Emre

The AKP has filed a defamation suit seeking 600,000 lira in damages against BirGün TV and Timur Soykan, citing their broadcasts and statements regarding the fund embezzlement scandal. Separate lawsuits seeking 500,000 lira each have also been filed against Şaban Sevinç and Zeynel Emre, spokesperson for the YENİ Party.
