The harvest season continues in disappointment for Aegean producers. Protests are growing over low grape purchase prices, the price for figs has yet to announce even though they are already being harvested. Purchase prices for olives have fallen below last year’s levels.
Producers asked: “They have left us at the mercy of traders. How can we trust the market?”
