The number of children whose needs cannot be met by their families has reached 193,601. As of June 2026, it was established that 11.2 million households were living in extreme poverty, whilst 16,000 households were living in uninhabitable conditions. According to data shared by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, it emerged that 1.8 million households were unable to pay their electricity bills and 606,800 households were unable to pay their natural gas bills without social assistance.
