Even the employment agency cannot find jobs

Turkish Employment Agency was unable to conceal the government’s rosy picture of the economy. The figures revealed that unemployment has worsened for university graduates and those aged 50 and over. Whilst the number of registered jobseekers rose by 1.57 per cent in August, job placements fell by 14.29 per cent.

A significant proportion of citizens were unable to claim unemployment benefit.
